Our Practitioners

We are independent practitioners who collaborate and share our clinic.

Loren Romley LAc., Owner

Loren Romley is a California Licensed Acupuncturist as well as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since April 2006. Loren earned her Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Five Branches Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Cruz, California. She completed the Five Element acupuncture program and focused her studies on hepatitis C, pediatrics, women's health and sports injury. Loren combines traditional Chinese and Japanese techniques with the theories of Five Element acupuncture to gain insight into her patients’ constitutions and the imbalances that are at the root of their discomfort and disease. As a Chinese Medical Practitioner and Primary Care Provider, Loren takes the time to analyze each patient carefully and understand their unique circumstances. She relates to a patient as a whole person with dynamic systems. Our world is full of stress, pollution, trauma, accidents, and habits constantly bombarding our systems. These challenges faced on a daily basis cause imbalances in our bodies which may manifest themselves as pain and/or illness. Acupuncture and herbal medicine have been used for thousands of years to help bring our bodies and minds closer to harmony.  Loren's other passions include, family time with her partner and two boys as well as keeping physically active.  She enjoys surfing, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, weight training and river rafting. She belongs to the following professional organizations:

California State Oriental Medical Association

Norcalfertility Group

Blossom Birth

The Nesting Spot for Birth and Beyond

Acupuncturists with out Borders

Jennifer Katsaros is a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  She has a special interest in treating chronic fatigue, insomnia, anxiety and depression. Dr. Katsaros is NCCAOM National-Board Certified and California State Board licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She earned both Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Five Branches University in San Jose, California.  She has also received B.S in Kinesiology and M.A in Low Vision Rehabilitation from San Francisco State University. Dr. Katsaros has over twenty years of experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team helping medically complex patients to achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. She understands that western medicine alone cannot address all health concerns we face today.  She also recognizes that recovery and healing process are unique to each individual.  This is the very reason she decided to pursue further education in traditional medicine that has been in existence for thousands of years to compliment the modern medicine available today. As a lifetime learner, in between spending time with her husband and two teenagers, she loves to listen to podcasts while taking long walks on the beach.
